The Skindiver Nautique is all set to make a splash in the vintage-like market. Inspired by a Vulcain model launched in 1960, it is powered by ETA’s 2824 three-hand Swiss automatic caliber with a 38-hour power reserve, the workhorse among the famed movement maker’s range of mechanical calibers.
In 1929, Vulcain presented the first mechanical wristwatch with alarm equipped with the famous Vulcain Cricket caliber or alarm clock and from that day on, Vulcain watches achieved worldwide fame, so much so that they were worn by 4 presidents of the United States of America.

The new Chronograph 1970's with its 38mm diameter and 12.40 mm thick "step-case" is identical to the original and set to appeal to vintage chronograph lovers. It is available in 4 dial colors: blue, black, panda-silver and salmon (limited to 50 pieces).

In 1961, Vulcain could boast of being the only watch Manufactures to offer a diver’s watch equipped with an aquatic alarm – in other words, an alarm that could also be heard underwater. Thanks to the ‘triple case back that acted as a resonance chamber, the Cricket Nautical reliably signaled when it was time to head back up.
